105 year old man, to witness his 13th solar eclipse

LaVerne Biser, a 105-year-old Texas resident, is eagerly anticipating the total solar eclipse on April 8.

His fascination with celestial events dates back to his childhood, and since witnessing his first total solar eclipse in 1963, he’s been captivated, traveling across the country to witness subsequent eclipses.

Despite his age, Biser remains sharp, recalling each eclipse he’s seen over the years. With meticulous planning, he’s ready to witness the upcoming eclipse in Plano, where it will last three to four minutes. Biser has traveled the world to witness the phenomenon and what will assuredly be his final one, will pass directly over his Texas house.

Biser emphasizes safety, urging others to wear protective glasses during partial eclipses but notes they can be safely removed during totality.
Biser attributes his longevity and vitality to a healthy lifestyle, abstaining from alcohol, smoking, and drugs, and adhering to Christian values.
